Approximately 60 tonnes of gurnard caught while fishing for monkfish and flats. The net was emptied leaving a slick of dead fish covering a square mile. Before people get too patriotic and sentimental about the fishing industry, they should acquaint themselves with the carnage and destruction it causes.
