Pinhole camera effect
backforwardOne summer morning in 1980, my late father (well, he wasn't actually late at the time, in fact he was early - it was 6.00 am.) came downstairs and entered the sitting room to see a near perfect inverted image of the houses across the road projected on the walls courtesy of a minute gap in our thick velvet curtains. The effect lasted for mere seconds, not long enough for him to get his camera set up. As a result, the curtains remained drawn and the room unentered for 24 hours in the hope that the scene would reoccur the following morning. It did.
